Southern Protection Agency tailors its professional services to Residential and Gated/Golf Communities: Home Owners Associations (HOA), Property Owners Associations (P.O.A.) and Certified Property Managers.
Each community has a unique personality - location, layout, traffic flow, specialized facilities, customized bylaws, and homeowner preferences must all be considered when providing security services. Additionally, as a community grows, its needs change, and therefore, its rules and regulations evolve.
Only by initiating and maintaining a line of joint communication with board members, property management and homeowners, will a security team fulfill the evolving needs of its community. Southern Protection Agency goes above and beyond the normal expectations of a security firm:

With the employment of off-duty law enforcement, we are able to utilize their expertise and place them in our training program so that you are getting a lot more than just a guard, you are getting a highly trained and diverse professional that can change roles in a matter of seconds.
Our dedication to a collaborative partnership with our communities is the reason our clients recommend us.
Fire/Search & Rescue
We have received high praise from clients and others that have had the opportunity to witness our guards go from patrol, to rescue on a moment’s notice. All of our patrol officers cross train with emergency departments and actively assist in such disasters as house fires, CPR, and a lost child.
Access Control/Gate Security Guard
Initial contact at the gatehouse sets the tone for the resident and their guest's experience...
The first impression of your community starts with your security staff – professional communication and observations skills are needed to both welcome and secure entry into the community.
Southern Protection Agency utilizes in-depth training programs to keep our access team alert, efficient and friendly. Site Managers spend a minimum of 24-hours, one-on-one training with new officers. We train our officers on:
-
Reviewing CCTV Replays
-
Examining Computer Entries
-
Dispatching
-
Phones Calls/Passes
-
Gate access softwar
Patrolling Officers
Responding to medical emergencies and house alarms are the most important duties of a patrol officer. A 40-hour First Responder course with constant training drills insures that patrol officers are able to respond and perform under high stress situations.
Prevention and detection are secondary functions of the Southern Protection Agency Patrol Officer. Training and constant reinforcement is again the key to performance. After their initial 24-hour one-one-one training, officers are constantly evaluated on the following procedures:
-
Identifying Suspicious Behavior
-
Securing Homes & Detecting Forced Entry
-
Responding to Emergencies
-
Monitoring Traffic Controls
-
Conducting Video Traffic Stops
-
Pin-pointing Audible Alarms
-
Maintaining Sporadic Patrol Procedures
Southern Protection is dedicated to providing you with professional officers to not only deter crime while on patrol, but to assist patrons and residents as well.
Vacationing residents will be provided a mechanism in which security checks of their respective residences can be viewed upon their return. Daily logs will be filed and available upon request. All traffic observations will be documented and provided to our client. In the event of a lane or road closure, officers will man the closure until proper signage and detour route can be established and the proper emergency departments can arrive on the scene.
Southern Protection Agency offers foot, bike, golf-cart, and vehicle patrols. All officers undergo rigorous driving training in all kinds of adverse conditions as well as patrol observation training. Our vehicles are equipped with radar, audio and video recording equipment.
Maritime Patrol
Our officers are trained locally prior to placement on site. Advanced training on Georgia state law, property regulations, boater safety, and other emergency procedures will be completed prior to initiating our service to the community. Our officers are cross trained and patrol with other officers currently serving on other water ways.
